Downtown Retail Development
Tallassee’s historic downtown is poised for a vibrant revival. The Tallassee Redevelopment Authority is a non-profit Alabama Municipal Authority created under Title 11-54A Code of Alabama. The TRA is authorized by the City of Tallassee to develop and promote public good and general welfare, trade, commerce, industry, and employment opportunities in the City of Tallassee and the surrounding areas by creating a climate favorable to the location of new industry, trade and commerce, as well as the revitalization of existing industry, trade and commerce.
